In the book, Around the World in 80 diets, readers journey with authors  to dine around the world on meals that everyday people eat in different countries.  The book highlights a region in the Brazilian Amazon with photos of a family of five eating cornmeal cakes and fish and a boat captain eating a plate of mixed entrees like spaghetti, rice and beans, and pork.  Beautiful pictures and interesting stories of what we all create with the gastronomic resources we have available.
