It may be 2014, but musical and sartorial calendars seem to be set to 1990- which seems to be good news for fashion label Versace. The mega-watt brand has been getting a lot of attention from music shout outs like Drake’s “Versace” to collaborations with celebs like Lady Gaga and possibly gigantic retailer Riachuelo.
Versace may release a collection in budget-conscious Brazilian retailer Riachuelo this year in November. Their capsule collection for H&M in 2011 sold out after people waited in long lines that streched for blocks. The iconic label also recently teamed its label Versus with M.I.A. to design a collection that was inspired by Versace knock-offs.
